This game has a lot of potential, sadly i needed to uninstall it cause of my PC's low performance. Again, this game is amazing and i will really play it if i get a better PC, altrought this game has a 10/10. Good work!
There's a very serious bug where the game is only playable from the German POV. Not only do you only get "Deploy"ed as one of them if you hit it, but if you go to the bother of manually spawning British or French units and going into one of them, your allies will IMMEDIATELY turn their guns on you and mow you down, in spite of there being no logical reason for this.
I'd greatly appreciate it if this could be fixed ASAP.
Fair enough and thank you for the quick reply. It might help to mention that more explicitly in the demo and documentation, at least until it is fixed.
Add some missions eg the somme where u have a set budget and can not increase a bit like total war speaking on that add a campaign mode also make the ui a bit clearer
I had the same problem so what you do is you locate your file and then at the top it says open with and I put file explorer so then you go in your file and locate the unity icon and create a short cut to desktop and then click on the short-cut and it launches the game
download it,check downloads folder,click on rising front,there should be an other thing named RF build(click it),there should be another thing named rising front in the RF folder(4rth thing down),click it,something should appear and you can handle it from there,after you have clicked ok on the Zip thing(green progress bar),the 4rth thing in the RF build folder will have a unity logo,click on that and have fun.(will show screenshots if needed)
Like other people have said, can't wait for loadouts and the Brits/French to be playable. The massive waves of guys pouring into trenches and over shell craters is so immersive, and the battle map looks like a real war plan.
But maybe add a button to "holster" your weapon and hold it against your chest like the bots do while marching. It would really help the immersion. To add onto that, could we have the option to have the same walking speed as them so I can walk in file?
do not know if this is just me but the game makes my pc make weird dying noises that make me scared to leave it open for more that a few seconds. Also in the main menu the FPS counter went up to over 3,000 soooo
Can you add snipers, bunkers, medbases, changing of guns when swapping to another player, multiplayer, kill feed, bullet tracing, vehicles, ghillie suits, to be able to build trenches, landmines,
it's a WW1 battle simulator and the guy has made a similar game before called Rise of Liberty about the American Revolutionary War and it was single player only. I doubt multiplayer is on the list. If you look in the ESC menu it says Loadouts are coming soon.

Nice pretty excited, it actually does work on mac os catalina you'll just have to make few tweaks in terminal to get it open. Let me know if anyone wants to know how.
I love the game 10/10 I would like to see some randomization in the uniform in the ranks though. maybe add some ottoman soldiers and astro-hugarian soldiers to diversify the central powers line a bit but its a very good game. If you do add vehicle, I would really love to see the Char 2c super heavy tank.:)
Very very nice game, it runs smoothly on very high graphics, and medium size platoons on 1060 graphics card. The game in general is really fun I have played for about 2 hours on the first Rising front prototype I will try the second, the only bugs that I have found is like 40 or so minutes in it will say there is no platoons around the beginning line although there is no one there? either way great game 10 out of 10 thankyou so much for a free fun game
so i found a glitch so jack in the stonewalls as protection/decoration glitch: i was charging a huge force that for some reason got shot down super fast. i tried to find out why! turns out the machine gunners can go INSIDE the wall and shoot there guns from outside it pls fix the bug i spend so long building up my military then with 1 charge it all died at once lmao
Hopefully customization, more guns for the player, the AI being able to man the machine guns on the trench, and being able to command your own squad will be added

thats not a bug, the game is only available on the german side right now

ADD more prototypes pls game so good but it is now getting boring doing the same thing :( Update the game..
prototype ,it will be finished and put on steam,its still good now though
Pls add the new modes like tug of war, The Sandbox is so fun but you can never win. I'd like checkpoints where if captured the team gets points.

Download winrar then put the file in the start menu or something and right click then click run here

This is fantastic work already.

can you make it so you can be a British or maybe even a french infantryman
cause i don't really like being a German all the time their rifles are pretty sucky, and ill rather be using a Lee-enfield or a Tommy gun.

Would've been better if in every trench charge there is gonna be a trench whistle whistling just to add a little extra detail
